There’s something powerful about watching a child push past “I can’t” and realize, “I did it!” Two of our sons got to break boards during Jiu-Jitsu this week with Mr.H at Impact Fitness & Martial Arts Academy, putting confidence, focus, bravery, and perseverance into action. Experiences like these empower kids to challenge themselves, step outside their comfort zones, and discover just how capable they truly are.

At Apogee Strong 608, kids actually look forward to the school year. Real projects, real responsibility, and faith woven through the day — in a small microschool for ages 5–17, where every kid is known and no one gets lost in the crowd.

There’s no single right way to raise a kid — so why do we school them all the same?

John Taylor Gatto had a line I love: there’s no one right way to become educated; there are as many ways as there are fingerprints.

That’s the whole bet we’re making at Apogee Strong 608. Not one mold every kid gets pushed through, but room for each kid to grow into who they actually are — with structure, faith, and real work holding it together. Montessori-inspired, project-based, faith-integrated. Mazomanie, ages 5–17.

We start Aug 31 with just 8 spots left. Come see what we’re building before they’re gone.

John Taylor Gatto spent nearly 30 years teaching in public schools before he wrote Dumbing Us Down. One line of his has always stuck with me: kids come into the world bursting with curiosity — and too often, school slowly trains it right out of them.

At Apogee Strong 608, we build the day around protecting that curiosity instead of grinding it down.

Faith-integrated, Montessori-inspired, project-based. Mazomanie, ages 5–17. Enrollment is open.

Ever wonder what a day at Apogee Strong 608 actually looks like?
Here’s the real rhythm — not a brochure version:
Kids arrive to free time, not a scramble to sit down. We open with a morning meeting — breath work, the pledge, a Bible verse, and gratitude to set the tone for the day.
Then reading, writing, and math while they’re fresh. A midday block for lunch, fitness, and actual free time — because kids think better when they’ve moved and eaten. Afternoons are for projects, the stuff they dig into and take ownership of. We close the day together, clean up together, and end with free play before pickup.
Real structure. Real ownership. No rows of desks, no busywork to fill the clock.
We’re a faith-integrated, Montessori-inspired, project-based microschool in Mazomanie for ages 5–17. Enrollment is open right now.
Leaders. On Purpose.
Message me if you want to come see a day in person — that’s the best way to get it.

Our motto is “Leaders. On Purpose.” — and the “on purpose” part matters.
Leadership isn’t a personality type some kids are born with. It’s built. It comes from being handed responsibility, being trusted to make decisions, and being allowed to get things wrong and try again. That doesn’t happen much when a kid’s whole day is scheduled and supervised.
At Apogee Strong 608 we build it in on purpose. Faith-integrated, Montessori-inspired, project-based, Mazomanie, ages 5–17.
Enrollment is open. Reach out anytime — I’d love to tell you more.

To the parent who keeps thinking about pulling their kid out of the traditional setup but hasn’t pulled the trigger:
I get it. It feels like a big leap. But most families I talk to aren’t unhappy about one thing — it’s a slow build of “this isn’t working for my kid” that finally gets loud enough to act on.
Apogee Strong 608 is a faith-integrated, Montessori-inspired, project-based microschool in Mazomanie for ages 5–17. Full-time, part-time, and homeschool support options.
No hard sell here. If you want to see what it’s about, come visit. Enrollment is open.

What if learning didn’t have to look like a classroom?

Peter Gray’s book Free to Learn stuck with me. His argument is simple: kids are wired to educate themselves. Give them trust, time, and real things to do, and they don’t need to be pushed into learning — they go after it on their own.

That’s the whole idea behind Apogee Strong 608.

We’re a faith-integrated, Montessori-inspired, project-based microschool in Mazomanie serving ages 5–17. No rows of desks. Kids work on real projects, carry real responsibility, and learn to take ownership of how they grow.

If you’ve ever looked at the public school setup and thought “there’s got to be something better” — there is. Enrollment is open right now.

At Apogee Strong 608, your kids don’t just learn reading, writing, and math.

They learn to lead — themselves first.

They build things with their hands and finish them. They ask hard questions and chase real answers. They stand up for what’s right, even when it’s not easy. They know who they are.

Physically strong. Mentally sharp.

Ready for the real world — not the one we grew up in, but the one that’s coming. Whatever it looks like, they’ll be the ones built for it.

The academics happen — and they happen well. But here, that’s the floor, not the ceiling.
