We teach courses for Mayville State University's Library Media & Information Science Minor, which provides credentials for School Library Media Specialists in the state and prepares others for working in public, academic, and special libraries. Many of our students are English or Education Majors and many others are teachers currently working in schools across the state. The program is completely
online and can be completed in accelerated summer classes or during regular fall and spring semesters. Our librarians, staff, and students work hard to build and maintain a valuable and reputable learning and research space. We strive to be a place to go when you need a quiet break, space to work on a team project, or to learn about how to locate the best possible information from reputable sources. Take advantage of our electronic books and ebooks through Overdrive and EBSCO. Sit a spell and help our campus community construct a jigsaw puzzle or borrow your favorite board game for a weekend game night. Starting in the fall 2014 semester, the Mayville State University Writing Center will locate to the library. Get all you need to research, write and print in one location. Also new for the 2014 fall semester is a bicycle rental program, so watch for news on that! If you find that we don't have something that you need, let us know!
