Addison shared,
💬 “My time at The Beauty Institute made me fall in love with a passion that could be my career. Something I was missing from my life was bringing beauty into others’ lives.”

Her advice to students?
“Always say yes — even if it’s a men’s haircut or a perm. Saying yes to everything gives you experience, builds your confidence, and helps you discover what you truly love.”

Favorite memory?
“Always talking to Sydney — no joke, I swear I wouldn’t know half of what I do now if I hadn’t listened to her advice. Pushing myself out of my comfort zone helped me find myself again!” 🫶

Abigail credits her success to her time at The Beauty Institute:
💬 “It gave me a great idea of what my journey would look like outside of school and fully prepared me for state boards. I couldn’t have asked for a better role model than Sydney!”

Her advice to students?
“Find your hustle and grind while in school — it’ll make your career outside a whole lot easier!”

And her favorite memory?
“Toning my client with what we thought was 9N… but it turned out to be 4RV in a 9N box 😳 — followed by two rounds of color remover. We definitely learned that day!” 😂

The Beauty Institute will have an early dismissal today, June 19th, at 12:00 PM.

We will be closed June 22nd–26th for Summer Break. 🌴

Our Student Salon will reopen on June 30th, and we look forward to seeing all of our clients and students then!

Meet Sarah Cropper — a Domestic Engineer (aka proud stay-at-home momma ❤️)

Sarah may not be working behind the chair these days, but the lessons and friendships she gained at The Beauty Institute have stayed with her throughout life’s journey.

When reflecting on her time at The Beauty Institute, Sarah shared:

“This place and the people taught me a lot about the importance of beauty—what it can mean and how to help anyone feel their best self.”

One piece of advice she has for current students?

✨ “Learn from every experience.”

And when asked about her favorite memory, she couldn’t pick just one!

“Getting my hair washed (or any service really)! But mostly, I miss the friends I made there.” 🥰

We are so grateful that Sarah chose to be part of The Beauty Institute family. It has been an honor to be part of her journey, and we couldn’t be prouder of all she has accomplished and the beautiful life she has built. 💕

It’s our Birthday 🎉

This dream has grown into something I could have never imagined.

What started with just one student has led to years filled with growth, challenges, memories, laughter, late nights, accomplishments, and so many amazing people walking through our doors… I am beyond grateful.

Thank you to every student, graduate, client, family member, supporter, and friend who has been part of this journey. Your support has helped build not just a school, but a family and a future for so many aspiring professionals.

Watching students gain confidence, pass their exams, chase their dreams, and build careers they love will always be the most rewarding part of all of this.

Here’s to 8 years of beauty, and to many more ahead.✨
