We’ve done it again! First the Twin Comanche now another 172! Humphries Aviation is excited to announce the addition of N269RD to our fleet! She is currently in the shop getting avionics. Will be equipped with new yokes, dual G5’s a Bluetooth audio panel, a 530 and a 430 and GTX 345 transponder. Should hopefully be available for rental and flight training in a few weeks!

You can now get a sport pilots license in a 172 which does NOT require an FAA medical!

Humphries Aviation will be seeking a qualified MEI/CFII to join our subsidiary N130MM LLC to primarily conduct accelerated multi engine ratings (both private and commercial) and aircraft checkouts. The job is intended to be primarily Monday-Friday afternoon, however the instructor would need to be available nights and weekends to help accommodate students. We are located at the Fleming-Mason Airport in Maysville, KY. The instructor would ideally live within a 50 mile radius.

The ideal applicant would have 750 hours of total time, 50 hours in multi engine aircraft with a preference for previous MEI experience. (Bonus if though have Twin Comanche time)

Base pay begins at $50 per hour flight and ground and increases based on experience.

We would like to congratulate our Peter Ripato and his instructor Ken for successfully passing his instrument check ride in his beautiful Mooney M20C. We would also like to congratulate Josh Savard and his instructor team of Rob and Kayla for passing his private pilot check rides. We also want to congratulate Cody Lane for his initial solo flight!

We now have a simulator (BATD Type) for rent in our office at Fleming-Mason Airport! You can log 2.5 hours towards your private pilot certificate and 10 hours towards your instrument rating. We can also help you with maintaining your instrument currency. We will offer this as G1000 or 6 pack and a GNS530.

The rental rate will be $40/hour plus instructor fee. Please reach out to us for your simulator and flight training needs.
