Good Afternoon Students and Guardians,
I hope that everyone is warm and doing well during the storm. Please try and stay off the roads, especially my teen drivers, as the roads are not in good condition. If there is anything you or your family need, please reach out to me, and I will do my best to help.
Tomorrow, Monday, January 26th, will be a traditional snow day. I went into the calendar in Edmentum and made that change, so you should not have any scheduled work to launch tomorrow. If, for some reason, something does appear, please let me know and I will try again. Reflections will now be due by 10 am on Tuesday. The Senior Royal Diploma work session is also canceled for tomorrow.
Enjoy your day off tomorrow, take pictures, make memories, but most of all, take care!

Due to the 2 hour delay there will be no I-Ready testing today for MCVA middle and elementary students. I will send out a schedule for makeup testing later today.

Class of 2026 Parents & Guardians:

Jostens is scheduled to be at MCHS on Friday of this week for senior tux & drape make-up pictures. This will be the last opportunity for students in the class of 2026 to get their tux or drape picture taken.

The last day to order cap & gown units without a late fee is Tuesday, November 25th.

Good evening Class of 2026 parents and/or guardians. Please see the video linked below in which I relay some information from Mr. Rusty Rivard (MCHS graduation representative from Jostens) and take you step-by-step through the ordering process. Orders are due to Jostens by no later than close of business on Tuesday, November 25th. Orders placed after this date/time are subject to a late fee assessed by Jostens. Report cards for the 1st Nine Weeks have been emailed to your email on file in IC. Please check your email and respond back stating that you have seen and read your child's progress report. Below you will find the mandatory meeting times for students in grades 6-8. MCVA Middle School age students will meet on August 25th at 1 pm.
Please help me share the following information so all of my students and guardians are aware of the mandatory meeting on the first day of school.
This meeting is new this year since we have a new program. We will also look at schedules and pick up Chromebooks at that time!

We are a little over a week away from starting another amazing year at MCVA! I wanted to take the time to introduce myself as we will have many new faces this year.
My name is Mrs. Amanda White and this year I will be working with all the students at MCVA. This is my 23rd year teaching at Mason County! I am the proud wife of Mr. White who is the PLTW teacher at Straub Elementary. My biggest blessing in the word are my 3 beautiful children.
Most nights you will find me at a soccer, baseball, or football field. I love to travel, talk, and take photos.
Working to help students find and follow their dreams is one of my biggest passions. I am a big believer in 2nd chances and new beginnings. I am my students biggest fan and most loyal supporter. Most of all, I am proud to be a Royal!💙🤍👑

2. Chromebooks will be distributed on the first day of school as always. Time will be released at a later date.
