Happy Sunday MCVA Families!
We had an amazing first week of school! We were able to welcome so many new and smiling faces as well as welcome back our amazing returning students. The beginning of the year brought a few obstacles with the launch of our new student security and passwords from the state but our students were patient and kind as myself and Mr. Gilbert worked hard to get everyone setup. If you see our Mason County IT team out make sure to thank them because they were the truly "Unstoppable" ones this week helping with all of our questions.
Speaking of Mr. Gilbert, I would like to offically welcome Mr. Jordan Gilbert to MCVA. Mr. Gilbert will be assisting me this year and I am proud to say that he already brings that same "Unstoppable" attitude and dedication to our academy. When he isn't helping lead our students to success you will find him on the court leading our Mason County Roayls to victory.
I am so excited to get this year started! Thank you again for allowing me to be a part of your child's journey. I am beyond blessed to work with the most amazing students and their families.

Happy Saturday MCVA Families! Mr. Thomas and I enjoyed meeting with several new families over the past few days. I am so excited to be a part of the journey for so many new and excited faces. I wanted to share a few items before we get rolling next week.
First, Chromebook Pick-Up for returning students will be on Wednesday, August 26th at STEAM. Please drop in between the hours of 9 am and noon to get your computer and pick-up your elective sheets.
Second, we are aware that there may be some issues logging into your Chromebooks. I am attaching the directions for you to set them up. If you are unaware of your student ID number that can be found in your IC.
Lastly, I can't wait to get this year started with some of the most amazing kids I know!💙🤍👑

Good Afternoon Students and Guardians,
I hope that everyone is warm and doing well during the storm. Please try and stay off the roads, especially my teen drivers, as the roads are not in good condition. If there is anything you or your family need, please reach out to me, and I will do my best to help.
Tomorrow, Monday, January 26th, will be a traditional snow day. I went into the calendar in Edmentum and made that change, so you should not have any scheduled work to launch tomorrow. If, for some reason, something does appear, please let me know and I will try again. Reflections will now be due by 10 am on Tuesday. The Senior Royal Diploma work session is also canceled for tomorrow.
Enjoy your day off tomorrow, take pictures, make memories, but most of all, take care!
