Thank you, Friends for all of the sweet birthday greetings! It really was a lovely quiet day of puttering around doing my favorite things: gardening, exploring the yard and woods and spending time in the kitchen. Totally enjoying my annual moss garden for the bay window today! Joe completed his promise to build a little Irish breakfast snug and install it at the 11th hour Monday night. Thank you😘I love it so much. I gave the kitchen a splash of color on the walls last week and decorated for the season. Made some apple rose tarts and blew out the candle late last night.😴 So sad to miss a visit from dear friends Martin & Sande Salowey yesterday as circumstances just collided to cause us to postpone to another time. Sandra and I went to herb school together with David Winston 30 years ago!!!

About a month ago I dropped a binder that carried ten years of notes, talks, handouts, altar cards, natal charts and seasonal expressions. You can only imagine the slow motion dread of watching an over-stuffed 3 ring binder spiral to the floor and explosion of ten years of seasons slip across the floor in all directions. SICK.
Class was coming so the best I could do was to find a cardboard box big enough to shovel it all into. Fortunately, my notes for the day were already on the table. Today is the day that I’m methodically touching and reorganizing every page. Kind of cathartic, actually. I love teaching this class…..every year has a different energy..elementary different. But I’ve learned sooo much in the ten years since Phyllis Light encouraged me to come out of my secret astrology closet and share what I’ve learned. It’s been an amazing ride.
