Was so sad to hear this news the other day. I had the pleasure of teaching Gabby for a while during her high school years and she was such a fun and kind human. I always enjoyed learning about Taylor Swift from her and listening to her get so excited about upcoming concerts she was going to. Definitely gone too soon. 💕 Please keep her and her family in your thoughts.

Big audition day tomorrow for a handful of our students auditioning for the Gateway to the Arts program! Here’s Daniella’s final run of her audition song “They Just Keep Moving The Line” from Smash. Everyone has been working so hard! Break legs!!

WHO: This one is for the girlies currently in or entering 7th-12th grades.

WHAT: Our Musical Theater Intensive is a dynamic, triple-threat training experience where students build skills in singing, acting, and dancing in a fun, supportive environment. Throughout the program, performers will grow in confidence, technique, and stage presence as they prepare for a final showcase performance for family and friends. Program fee is $150.

WHEN: June 3rd 6-9
June 7th 5-8
June 10th 6-9

Dress Rehearsal July 8th 5-9
Performances July 11th 7pm (rehearsal in the afternoon time tbd) & July 12th 2pm

WHERE: All normal rehearsals are at Bonilla Vocal Academy. Dress rehearsals and performances are at Cumberland Players in Vineland.

Email your submission to [email protected] by noon on Saturday May 23rd. Remember, if you’re auditioning for Between the Lines, you do not need to send us a video. You will just check off on your form that you’re interested. Let us know if you have any questions! 🫶🏻

MT INTENSIVE: We’re back!! Important notes: This intensive is for female or female presenting performers in grades 7-12. Tuition is $150. There is no audition day for this intensive. If you’re auditioning for Between the Lines, you will be able to check off that you’re also interested in the intensive and that audition will go towards both. If we will not see you for Between the Lines auditions, you will send a video of you singing any song of your choice to [email protected] by May 23rd. Rehearsals are Sundays and Wednesdays beginning June 3rd. As always this is a quick process with only 9 rehearsals. After all, it’s an intensive! Singing, dancing, and acting! Also important: if you participated in our last two intensives, you may not audition unless we need more people. Please note that unlike our musicals, we do intend to make cuts if we have more than 16 people auditioning. We do not simply accept the best of the best- we accept those who we feel could benefit and grow from the program. Can’t wait!!! Reach out if you have any questions.

and Lindsey thank you for working so hard on making this production be the best it could be! I love collaborating with you all. Doing all this is SO much more fun with friends by your side. I’m sure we’ll get to do it again. ☺️
Huge thank you to .players for hosting us once again. We are so lucky to have their support. Theater is nothing without community and they have truly been so welcoming. 💕
And lastly to the kids. The 15 of them became such a tight group of friends who were all unapologetically themselves and it reminded me why I do why I do. We need this. You need this…I need this…the world needs this.

(Cinderella appreciation post 1 of 2 and then I have to go backwards and talk about our recent Songs We Love concert!)

🫶🏻THESE KIDS! We adore them. They accomplished so much in just 12 rehearsals. For this show we auditioned 1st-4th graders and ended up with a perfect cast of 15 kids. Every so often I feel it’s important for us to do a show specifically for our younger age group so when came to me and expressed interest in directing something, I knew this would be the perfect opportunity.
💫So often the younger kids are auditioning for things with a wide age range and then end up not getting much stage time with no speaking or singing solos so we wanted to create something with a small cast and age range so everyone has a chance to shine. And MY GOODNESS they sure rose to the occasion! I’ve seen so much growth in our returning members and our new members fit in perfectly and were absolutely fabulous! I’m so grateful to be able to do what I do. I hope I work at Bonilla Vocal Academy forever. It’s a pretty fun place to be. 😜🥰
