Welcome to our new teachers!!

Meet Nicole Gibbs

Nicole Gibbs is our new high school English teacher! This is Nicole’s first year teaching, but she is already familiar with many of our West Central students. She student-taught at West Central last year and enjoyed her experience here.

Before beginning her teaching career, Nicole worked at Upper Iowa University for 10 years. She is originally from Elgin, Iowa, where she currently lives with her husband and their three children.

We are excited to welcome Nicole to West Central and look forward to having her as part of our staff!

Meet Nick Finder

We are thrilled to welcome Nick Finder to our high school science team! Originally from Tripoli, Nick graduated from UNI, where he was a member of the E-Sports team. He completed his student teaching at Sumner-Fredericksburg and New Hampton. He also substitute taught here at West Central and in Tripoli, so some of you may already recognize him!

Please join us in giving him a warm welcome!

West Central students running cross country with Starmont include high school students Lincoln Sieck, Cameron Jacobs, Finn Molumby and Ava Miller. Junior high students running are Adam Meyer, Alexander Jensen and Myree Vargason .
