We loved celebrating our Blue Devils at our recent Blue Pride Assembly! We recognized students who are excelling in Accelerated Reader (AR), demonstrating what it means to be kind, respectful, and responsible, and earning the recognition of our teachers through our Student Spotlight Awards!
We are so proud of our students for working hard, making positive choices, and showing their Blue Devil pride each day. Thank you to our teachers for recognizing and celebrating the amazing things our students do!

Our junior high volleyball girls wrapped up their season last night, and what a great season it was! These girls showed so much growth, improvement, and determination throughout the season. They are such an amazing group, and Coach Dralle had the best time coaching them!

I am so proud of each and every one of them and all the progress they made this season. I can’t wait to see them continue to grow, improve, and accomplish great things! Keep working hard, girls!

💙 Could YOU make a difference in the life of a young person?

Sometimes, all it takes is one caring adult to make a lasting impact on a child's life.

West Central is looking for community members who would be willing to volunteer their time to mentor a student through our partnership with Helping Services for Youth and Family.

You don't need a teaching degree or any special skills. You just need a willingness to listen, encourage, build a friendship, and be a positive, consistent presence in a young person's life.

Whether it's playing a game, sharing a conversation, or simply showing up and letting a student know someone cares, the time you give could mean more than you realize. ❤️

Helping Services coordinates the mentoring program and provides guidance and support to volunteers.

Interested in becoming a mentor or learning more? Please contact West Central School, and we'll help you get connected with Helping Services.

Our students have so much potential. Sometimes, they just need another person in their corner. 💙

Be that person.
