I want to tell you a little bit about our dear friend Marsha. She has been a long time resident of Maynard, Massachusetts and she is the epitome of an amazing community member everywhere she goes. She has touched countless lives through her life’s mission to bring music to and make music with adults with disabilities. She is a talented harpsichordist (she has one in her living room in her Maynard home right by Market Basket in fact!). She is a pianist and choir conductor- and like many musicians she continues to work well into her elder years- both out of the immense love she has for her work and out of necessity.
Breaking your elbow as a musician is unfathomable. On top of that she has severe ankle breaks and will need to spend extended time in rehab trying to get well enough to return to her home (which is not handicap accessible). Recovery for the injuries she sustained would be difficult for anyone, but is truly heartbreaking for a person who makes their living through playing keyboard instruments. Marsha has given her whole life to serving others, and if you are able please help us to serve her in her time of need. Thank you all for considering showering Marsha with some love through the go fund me page or even just by sharing out the link❤️
