Today was Water Day! 💦☀️ The kids had a blast playing in the water, staying cool, and enjoying some yummy food! It was a fun-filled day full of smiles, laughter, and making great memories. 💙🌊

In our one year old class our little superheroes had a SUPER day! We kicked off Superhero Week by learning about the color red through a fun spray bottle art activity. The children practiced squeezing and spraying red-colored water onto paper towels, strengthening their fine motor skills while exploring color recognition and cause-and-effect learning. Later, we gathered for story time and used our imaginations to become superheroes, putting on capes, striking superhero poses, and “flying” around the classroom on exciting adventures. Through art, movement, and dramatic play, our little heroes built creativity, confidence, and important developmental skills while having a blast saving the day! 💦🎨📚🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

E-I-E-I-O! 🐷 Today our farm friends joined us for circle time! The children loved interacting with the farm animal puppets while practicing animal sounds, listening skills, and language development. There were lots of smiles, laughter, and opportunities for imaginative play as we learned all about life on the farm. 🐷🐖

Jess works in our one-year-old classroom and does an amazing job every day. She is patient, observant, and truly takes the time to meet each child’s needs. Her dedication, kindness, and attention to detail help create a positive and nurturing environment for the children in her care.

The farm got muddy today! Our one year old class created and explored “mud” made from shaving cream and brown paint while searching for hidden farm animals buried inside. There were lots of messy hands, excited discoveries, and opportunities for imaginative play as they dug, mixed, scooped, and rescued their animal friends.
They had so much fun learning through play on the farm! 🐐🐴🐓🐖🐔

🐞🦋 Bug Week Fun! 🐜🐛

This week, we are learning all about bugs! Our 2/3 year old friends enjoyed a fun and creative bug-themed activity. Using fly swatters and paint, they “swatted” the bugs to create unique artwork while strengthening their hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and creativity.

The kids had a blast exploring colors, textures, and movement through this hands-on learning experience. We love making learning fun and engaging! 🎨🐞💛

We are so blessed to have had the opportunity to teach this amazing group of preschoolers. This has truly been an incredible year watching each of them grow into the wonderful little people they are becoming. They have learned, grown, and changed so much throughout the year.

Having them with us every day has made them feel like part of our own family. They will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we hope one day to be cheering them on at their high school graduations.

Thank you for trusting us with your children each and every day and allowing us to be a part of their lives. From all of the KZ family — we love you all so much! ❤️

Our 2/3 class loved roasting s’mores for Camping Week! 🏕️🔥 The marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers made such a yummy treat, and everyone thought they tasted so good! 🍫🤍

While making their treats, the children practiced following directions, taking turns, and using their fine motor skills. They also learned about camping traditions and explored sensory experiences through cooking and hands-on play. We are having the best time making sweet memories together this week! ⛺🪵🥰
