Mayfield High School Golf

The 2025 golf season came to a close tonight with our team banquet. Several awards were given out, along with letter jackets and bars. It’s great to end a season by recognizing the accomplishments of our players. I am so proud of all of them, and appreciate the opportunity to work with great kids!

The 2025 MHS golf season came to a close today. Rylan Crouch had a great season that ended with a T-45 finish at the state finals. It wasn't the result he was looking for, but he fought hard and gave it everything he had. I have no doubt he will be back there next season!

Day 1 is in the books. Rylan will get some rest and come back strong tomorrow! He has a 9:03 tee time again tomorrow, starting on hole 10.

The KHSAA Finals start today at Bowling Green CC. Rylan Crouch has a 9:03 tee time. If you have the Golf Genius app and would like to keep up with live scoring, the GGID is 25KHSAABOYS. This is a 2 day event. Tomorrow's tee time will be determined by his score today. Let's go!!!!!

Great round today for Rylan Crouch! It was the first round of the KHSAA State Tournament at Calvert City CC. He turned in a +1 round of 73 to finish T-6. But most importantly, he qualified for the State Finals again this year. It will be played next Friday and Saturday at Bowling Green CC. There will be live scoring for that event, and I will post the GGID the morning of for anyone who wants to follow his scores. On to the next!

Unfortunately, today did not go the way we wanted it to. Keely Henson gave it a great effort but came up 3 shots short of qualifying for the state finals. It has been a great season for Keely, and I'm so glad I got to be a part of it. She has been a great representative for Mayfield High School on and off the course. Proud of you Keely!

I am just now getting around to posting pics from our Senior Night held on Sept. 15th. Keely Henson and Camden Higdon are the only Seniors on the team this year. They have been great teammates, leaders, and players. They will both be missed and I know for certain that they will do great things in the future!

Today was the boys turn for Regionals. It was held at Murray CC. Scoring was tought today for everyone playing. Rylan Crouch, Abram Morris, and Camden Higdon battled it out today with the regions best. They may not be proud of their scores, but I'm proud of these guys. Rylan played well enough to advance to Sub-State next week at Calvert City CC. We're not done yet!

The girls were at Rolling Hills CC today for the Regional Tournament. Playing in the rain wasn't something we saw coming. I'm very proud of the effort Keely Henson, Baileigh Lawson, and Karsyn Williams gave today. I bet they are all resting their legs tonight! Keely played well enough to finish T-9 and advance to Sub-State next week in Calvert City. Great job ladies!
