The gym was buzzing today as Royal Valley High School kicked off the school year with its annual Club Fair! Student leaders lined the court with tables, posters, and sign-up sheets as Panthers filed in to explore how to get involved this year.

There were lots of clubs and organizations students could sign up for:
• FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America)
• FFA (National FFA Organization)
• FCCLA (Family, Consumer, and Community Leaders of America)
• KAY (Kansas Association for Youth)
• FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes)
• Jackson County Youth Coalition
• Firekeeper Youth Council
• Art Club
• ESports
• Forensics
• School Play / Drama Sign-ups

High school is what you make it—so jump in, try something new, and make your mark. Thank you to the student leaders and advisors who made today’s fair in the gym a huge success!

Day 3 of Spanish I was a huge success!

RVHS Spanish 1 students students hit the ground running with an interactive Gallery Walk. First, they tackled summarizing their own original short stories in Spanish. Then, they walked the room to read stories written by other classes, summarizing them in English and putting their translation skills to the test!

The best part? Comparing their work with other classes to vote on who created the best story.

Our summer building refresh at Royal Valley Elementary is officially complete!

Our Panthers are coming back to some serious upgrades this year:
• Replaced Gym Floor: Fully replaced and ready for game day
• Epoxy Hallway Flooring: Sleek, high-durability epoxy finish through the basement level
• New Cabinetry & Cubbies: Fresh, organized storage in our classrooms

Everything is polished, set up, and ready to go. We're excited to welcome our Panthers back to school!

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS IS BACK AT ROYAL VALLEY!

Join us this Friday night for our 6th Annual Friday Night Lights padded scrimmage featuring 150–160 of our RV kids from 2nd through 12th grade!

Come out to support the players, gear up for the season, and enjoy a great night with the community!

EVENT DETAILS
• Where: Royal Valley High School Football Field
• 5:30 PM: Fundraising BBQ Dinner at the Concession Stand (Free-Will Donation)
• 6:00 PM: Teams Take the Field
• Gear: T-shirts, hats, and other RV gear will be for sale on-site!

Field Layout
• 2nd, 3rd & 4th Grade: West Side
• 5th & 6th Grade: Middle West
• 7th & 8th Grade: Middle East
• High School: East Side

Throw on your RV gear, bring the family, and let’s pack the stands!

Calling all Pre-K (age 4) through 4th-grade students! Come learn a fun routine and perform under the Friday night lights!

Practice: Sun, Sept 6 (3–4 PM) @ HS Gym
Performance: Fri, Sept 11 (Halftime)
Cost: $20 (Includes clinic, t-shirt, and free student admission wearing the shirt)

HOW TO REGISTER:

• Send $20 payment to the Elementary Office labeled Kenzie Hegemann.
• If you are registering more than one student, please fill out a new form for each additional studen
