Village of Maybrook

Village of Maybrook Over the years we have gained an even greater appreciation for our community and its spirit. The community we have does not happen by accident.

Whether you expect to be here for a short time or for the rest of your life, we hope you find Maybrook to be a friendly, caring and supportive community where everyone is received warmly by. Positive accomplishments are realized by the constant efforts of your Village Board, community organizations, residents and Village Employees. Together we will continue to make Maybrook a better place to live,

work and play. The Village of Maybrook page will be used in addition to the Village of Maybrook Website www.village of maybrook.com to improve communication and to inform residents of current events.

The Village of Maybrook has proudly recognized Ovarian and Breast Cancer Awareness for many years. Our recognition of Ovarian Cancer Awareness was originally brought to our community through the Feller family in loving memory of Corrine Feller. This cause also became deeply personal to me and my family when my late wife was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and, after a long and courageous battle, sadly passed away from the disease.

Over the years, we expanded our efforts to include Breast Cancer Awareness as well, recognizing the many individuals and families whose lives have been impacted by this disease. Education, awareness, and early detection are extremely important and can help save lives.

The Village of Maybrook will continue to recognize Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month in September and Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, and we encourage our residents, businesses, and organizations to join us by displaying teal ribbons throughout September and pink ribbons throughout October. Together, we can honor those we have lost, support those who continue to fight, celebrate the survivors, and help bring greater awareness to these important causes.
