We had such a great turnout for auditions! Thank you to everyone who showed up, stepped into the room, and gave it their all! 🎭 We are so excited for what we have in store for this cast!

Please be on the lookout for an email for the remainder of the week with important information regarding the cast, rehearsals, and what to expect as we prepare to begin rehearsals in two weeks.

This is Birdsong. I just want anyone in this group to know, I have been at times humbled, energized, driven to tears, paralyzed by laughter, and, yes, sometimes enraged by your efforts. And that is as it should be. Remember. Fear is fake. Fear is something we make. You can ignore it and the outcome will be the same. You are more than who you are now. Be patient with yourself and always take risks. I will miss the old girl. And I will miss PCSSD. I have loved every one of you, even while you further the passage of my hairline past my ears. I am SO proud of all of you. Please. Do great things. And make great art.

From the first read through to our final bow at Maumelle High School, this journey has been something special. Every late rehearsal, every costume change, every moment backstage and under the lights built something we will never forget. This cast and crew showed up with heart, talent, and dedication every single day and it paid off.

So grateful for the laughter, the growth, and the memories made on that stage and backstage. Until the next show… 💛
