One of the sweetest little faces from our Infant Room is here to brighten your timeline! 💛💙 There’s something so special about watching our tiniest scholars begin to discover the world around them.

At Future Scholars Christian Academy, we believe a baby’s first learning environment should feel safe, nurturing, peaceful, and full of love. Our Infant Program provides individualized, developmentally appropriate care in a faith-filled environment where little ones are encouraged to grow, explore, connect, and thrive at their own pace. This summer, Malakhi faithfully served as one of our FSCA Junior Ambassadors, leading with kindness, responsibility, and a heart to serve. Though his Olympic training limited the time he could spend with us, the impact he made on our scholars will not be forgotten.

Over the past several weeks, we’ve received an overwhelming number of phone calls, emails, and messages from families asking about the South Carolina Child Care Scholarship Program. We know many parents have been waiting for applications to open, and we understand the uncertainty this pause may bring.

To help keep our community informed, we’re sharing the official update from the South Carolina Department of Social Services regarding the temporary pause on new Child Care Scholarship applications.

While this news may be discouraging, we want every family to know this:

Please don’t let the scholarship pause stop you from reaching out to us.

At Future Scholars Christian Academy, we believe every child deserves access to a safe, loving, and high-quality early education. We understand that every family’s financial situation is different, and we’re committed to working alongside you whenever we can.

If you’re interested in enrolling but are concerned about affordability, we invite you to contact us. We offer flexible payment arrangements, enrollment discounts when available, and personalized tuition options designed to help families receive the care they need during this transition. While we can’t replace state funding, we will do our very best to explore solutions with you.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to TD Bank, Branch Manager Karen, and Jessica for investing in the lives of our Future Scholars yesterday! 💚💙

Our scholars had an incredible time learning about financial literacy, the importance of saving, the different types of coins and currency, and how money helps us make wise choices. These are life skills that will benefit them for years to come!

Thank you for making learning so engaging and for the thoughtful gifts and educational resources you shared with each of our children. Your generosity, encouragement, and willingness to pour into the next generation mean more than words can express.

At Future Scholars Christian Academy, we truly value community partnerships that help our children grow both academically and in life. We are grateful for your time, your heart for our youth, and your commitment to making a difference.

Our Future Scholars Christian Academy Ready, Set, SOAR Summer Camp scholars had an amazing day exploring the World of Energy! They enjoyed interactive exhibits, learned about electricity and energy, and had so much fun while discovering new things.

💙 Do you have a heart to serve children? We’d love to have you join our team! 💛

As we enjoy the final four weeks of an incredible Summer Camp, I’m reminded just how much of an impact our volunteers make. Their time, encouragement, patience, and smiles help create an environment where children feel seen, loved, and supported.

Beginning in August, we are looking for caring, dependable volunteers to serve in our After-School Program from 3:00 PM–6:00 PM.

Whether you’re a college student, retiree, church member, community leader, or simply someone with a passion for investing in the next generation, there’s a place for you here.

Volunteers may assist with:
✨ Homework support
✨ Reading with children
✨ Games and activities
✨ Arts & crafts
✨ Mentoring and encouragement
✨ Helping create a safe, positive environment

You don’t have to change the whole world to make a difference, you can change a child’s world simply by showing up.

🌌 STEM + Creativity = A Whole Lot of Fun!

Yesterday our campers became little scientists and artists as they created their very own Glitter Galaxy Jars! 💙💛

This hands-on STEM activity gave our scholars the opportunity to explore creativity while learning about science concepts like density, liquids, color mixing, and observation. As they layered colors and glitter to create their own “mini galaxies,” they were reminded that learning doesn’t always happen with a textbook, it can happen through curiosity, imagination, and discovery.

At Future Scholars Christian Academy, we love creating experiences that inspire children to think, explore, and dream big. Every day is another opportunity to learn, create, and SOAR! 🚀✨
