𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗶𝗱 (𝗙𝗔𝗙𝗦𝗔) 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿!

Great news for students! The majority of FAFSA applicants now have access to real-time FAFSA results. This means students won’t have to wait days for feedback after applying and colleges will receive information and begin reviewing FAFSAs faster. Students can access real-time results by logging into their FAFSA account after submission and clicking the link for FAFSA Submission Summary.

𝗔 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻:
➡ Veteran applicants will continue with the current 1–3-day processing timeline while real-time functionality is finalized.
➡ Students submitting FAFSA forms or corrections during maintenance windows or system outages may also experience the 1–3-day processing timeline.

𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿:
✅ Completing FAFSA is the first step.
✅ Financial Aid staff will still need to review eligibility and required documents.
✅ Students should continue checking their CCTC email and student portal for updates.

Submitting your FAFSA is only the first step! Some students may be selected for verification and asked to provide additional documents before financial aid can be finalized.

📧 Check your college email and student portal regularly for any requests from your college's financial aid office.
