This morning our students and staff joined our local Veterans in raising the flag on the new pole outside of Shepherd's Watch Community Center. After saying the pledge of allegiance together, Mr. Reimer talked about the importance of the flag and US History. We then closed in prayer. We thank God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to do these things with our students and community.

Today we pause to remember September 11, 2001, and honor the lives lost, the heroic actions of first responders, and the resilience of families and communities affected by this tragedy. This moment of remembrance allows us to reflect on the courage and compassion that emerged during one of our nation's most challenging days.
