Learn how to identify local species and ways to prevent infestation. You will have the opportunity to see and handle the snakes if you choose. Also, learn what to do if bitten. My first Curly Tailed Lizard. They originate from Cuba, Caribbean Islands, and Peru. They were released in Florida in the 40s to help control sugar cane pests. The males curl their tail to threaten other males and to attract females. I love seeing new(to me) species.
