We are always proud to celebrate Mrs. Brossy & our oustanding Nature Studies Program! Congratulations!

Congratulations to Arborbrook Christian Academy, recipient of the 2025 Outstanding Conservation Program Award!

Through its Nature Studies program, students are learning that the best classroom is often the great outdoors. Led by Carina Brossy, students explore forests, gardens, and natural spaces while developing a deeper understanding of the environment around them. From studying monarch butterfly migration through international projects to participating in community science programs, students are encouraged to observe, ask questions, and make meaningful connections with the natural world.

This year, Union County Soil & Water Conservation District was proud to partner with Arborbrook through Project Explore, where students learned bird identification, tree identification, and contributed valuable observations to scientific research. Their enthusiasm, curiosity, and engagement made it clear why this program is so deserving of recognition.

Thank you to Carina Brossy and Arborbrook Christian Academy for inspiring the next generation of environmental stewards and conservation leaders.
