A little nonfiction fun happening in the Weddington Elementary Media Center! 📚🐾

Our Wildcats have been learning ALL about nonfiction—how to find information, use text features, and navigate the nonfiction section. And what better way to learn the Dewey Decimal System than with a little friendly competition?! 🔎📚

Today, our students put their skills to the test with a Dewey Decimal Scavenger Hunt! They went around the media center searching for books, finding call numbers, and putting their new skills to work. 🏃‍♀️💨📖

Learning + teamwork + a little competition = the perfect media center day! ❤️🐾

Together we ROAR! 🐾📚 Andrew G. Houlihan Union County Public Schools

🐾 Wildcats at Work! 🐾

Our 5th grade leaders are ready to ROAR! 💚💙 Today, they met to begin planning how they can support our school, serve others, and make a positive impact throughout our Wildcat Family.

We are excited to watch these young leaders step up, lead by example, and put their ideas into action! 🐾
