The Socrates Academy Board of Directors is seeking a dedicated individual to serve on our board. Some of the skill sets we are looking for include project management, data analysis skills, educational and community leadership expertise. Prior corporate board membership or other experience with K-12 education is a plus.
Socrates Academy K–12 public charter school with a unique educational model rooted in partial Greek language immersion and the Socratic method of instruction. We partner with local and global communities to inspire and empower students to reach their full academic and intellectual potential and promote critical thinking skills, inquiry, logic, questioning, problem- solving, and team collaboration. We value global engagement and citizenship, ethical responsibility and mutual respect. Our Core Values are based on the Ancient Greek ideals of Filotimo, Arete, Philoxenia, Ethos and personal responsibility.

Join us for a community workday this Sunday from 1:00–4:30 p.m.! We’ll be moving furniture, touching up paint, cleaning common areas, organizing closets, and tackling a few other lingering projects.
Please come lend a hand! This is a great way to get to know our campus and meet other famillies. You’ll receive double volunteer hours for the day, and everyone you bring will receive double hours too. Many hands make light work!

Volunteers will help with painting, landscaping, organizing, cleaning, and other campus improvement projects.
