Our focus is on Loss Prevention in retail, hence why our Board largely holds senior level positions at retail companies, or for companies that serve the retail sector. The Loss Prevention Foundation offers LPQualified (LPQ) and LPCertified (LPC) professional certifications.

The LPQ certification is the first of the two and provides a well-rounded foundational knowledge for individuals at the beginning of their retail or loss prevention journey. LPQ offers front line LP/AP pros the education and credentials needed to maintain their own safety as well as the safety and security of your customers, your stores, and your teams.

The LPC certification provides a much deeper dive for those with industry experience seeking to advance to the leadership level – whether it be as a field-level or corporate-level leader. This certification includes such topics as leadership and business principles, loss prevention operations, safety, risk, and crisis management, and supply chain security, all presented in the context of real-world scenarios.
