CAA Voice, Piano, and Adaptive Lessons instructor Anne Frances Frazier is officially a Board-Certified Music Therapist!

Anne Frances, MT-BC, holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy from Belmont University and is a board-certified music therapist currently practicing in the Charlotte area.

With music therapy as her backbone, Anne Frances brings warmth, enthusiasm, creativity, and empathy into the lesson space. She has extensive vocal performance experience in a variety of musical styles, and a deep love for teaching. Some of Anne Frances’ own personal favorite performances were in Oklahoma, Something Rotten, and The Drowsy Chaperone.

Anne Frances is passionate about helping students grow into confident, expressive performers. She believes every student learns uniquely and prioritizes meeting students where they are on their journey to help them reach their goals. She enjoys sharing music with voice and piano students at Charlotte Academy of the Arts, and to help them build confidence, strengthen their skills, and develop a lasting love for music and performance.

So excited to bring a show choir class back to the Academy this fall! For many years we were home of the Charlotte GLEE Club and the Charlotte Jr GLEE Club. The ensembles performed throughout our community and developed great friendships, many of which last to this day. Those kids are now adults and we are excited to bring a new version of the ensemble back this fall. Check out Showstoppers, our new ensemble for kids ages 9-15 who love to sing! Alley, who played Ariel in our summer production of The Little Mermaid, visited with our Under the Sea Stars campers singing "Part of Your World," teaching some choreography from the show, and answering campers' questions. We love giving our students opportunities to come back and inspire other kids. Alley, thanks for heading back under the sea for a day with us!
