Not everyone is ready to think about dating again, but it’s a topic many of us navigate at some point.
If this is a struggle for you today, take a breath and read this.

The desire for love and companionship is holy and good. God put it there. But after divorce, our next steps must be grounded in both 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵.

The Church teaches that until a declaration of nullity is granted, a person remains sacramentally married (CCC 2384–2386). This isn’t a restriction meant to hold you back—it’s a boundary designed to protect you. It guards your heart from making life-altering choices out of pain or loneliness, and it provides stability for your children.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲. It is a sacred window to heal, to rediscover who you are as a beloved child of God, and to learn what holy love requires.

𝟯 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿:

𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆: Is there tension or confusion in my heart regarding Church teaching that I need to bring honestly to the Lord?

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: What is one practical step (spiritual, emotional, or relational) I can take to prepare for healthy discernment in the future?

Be gentle with yourself. You don't need all the answers today—just bring your honest heart to God.

Thursday is almost here.
