The All-School Back-to-School Kickoff on Friday, August 14 is your one-stop shop to grab the latest CDS gear and start the year with school spirit. 🦁 Swipe 👉 to check out some of the new items! While you’re at the Back-to-School Kickoff, be sure to connect with our wonderful volunteers from the Parents Association, Booster Club, and Covenant Arts to learn how to get plugged in this school year. 🔒 FROM THE VAULT 🔒: Middle school CREATE students spent the school year restoring bicycles to donate to children in the Bahamas through Leah’s Hopes and Dreams. 🚲 Across all three grade levels, students collaborated on every step, from disassembly and hydro dipping to custom graphic design and reassembling. Along the way, they developed skills in engineering, creativity, and teamwork while serving others. We can’t wait for these bikes to bring joy to their new owners!

Join us at the annual Booster Club Golf Tournament on Monday, August 31, at Piper Glen with a shotgun start at 11:00 a.m. ⛳️ It will be a great day on the course in support of CDS athletics. 🦁 Grab some friends and make a team, or sign up as an individual. There have been some familiar faces back on campus this summer! Soccer alumni have scrimmaged with current boys soccer players during open-field sessions, while volleyball alumni have volunteered at volleyball camp. We’re excited to welcome even more alumni back for Alumni Night on Wednesday, August 5! Join us as former Covenant Day soccer, volleyball, basketball, and field hockey athletes take on our current varsity teams!

It’s time to recognize another team of CDS unsung heroes: our nursing staff! They do so much more than hand out bandages and cough drops. They care for students every day, helping them feel their best and get back to learning. Let’s hear it for our nurses and thank them for all they do! 👏🩺
