Crestdale Middle School Band Program

Congratulations to our TWO students who represented and with musical excellence this past weekend at the 2024 NC All State MS Honors Band. So proud of our musicians!

Congrats to the 4 Middle School students from that auditioned and were selected to be members of the 2024 NC All State Honors Band held at UNC-G this past weekend! These students represent some of the best MS musicians in the entire state of North Carolina!

Congrats to members of our 7th and 8th grade band that received straight Superior ratings at our Music Performance Adjudication on 3/13. Our students played beautifully and received a score that demonstrates that! Go Band!

Tomorrow is Takeover Tuesday, the day NCMEA members use Instagram to show you all the drama and excitement of a day in the life of a music educator. This week's host will be O'Shea Best, Band Director at Crestdale Middle School.

Great All District weekend with our 5 students! Such a great concert with such educational and musical performances led by Darcy Vogt Williams (Stiles MS) and Windy Baird (Down East School)! Now on to All State weekend in March!

Come and join us for our Fall Concert on October 30th! Any child under 5 with a costume will get candy! Costumes encouraged for student musicians and families!

It’s the time of the year for Cookie Dough!! Starting Monday, October 9th, see any BAND or ORCHESTRA student to make your cookie dough purchase! The funds help offset costs for the MANY student trips of the year! 5 tubs or $60 in donations!
