🎓 Expanding College Access Across the South Suburbs

Rich Township High School District 227 is proud to see the recent LAUNCH College Admissions event highlighted by the Chicago Tribune.

The event brought admissions representatives from Cornell University, Emory University, Pomona College, Rice University, and Washington University in St. Louis to the South Suburbs, giving local students and families direct access to nationally recognized colleges and universities.

We appreciate the partnership between Southland College Prep and Rich Township High School District 227, including the leadership of Dr. Blondean Y. Davis and Superintendent Dr. Johnnie Thomas, in helping expand opportunities for students throughout our region.

Last night was our first home volleyball game! 🏐 It was a tough loss, but we never gave up and kept fighting until the very end. Proud of the heart and determination this team showed!
Come cheer us on Sept. 8 at our next home game.

We are 3 weeks into the school year. Students are off to a great start. Automotive is getting hands on, Construction is getting skills by building, Agricultural Science is growing things and Aviation is learning the world. Our students are discovering their potential.

Today, the Rich Township Marching Machines M3 proudly took part in the Country Club Hills Parade! 🎺🥁
They brought energy, music, and Rich Township spirit to the community! Thank you to everyone who came out to support us and cheer us on.

Today was our first home game for flag football! 🏈 It was a tough loss, but the team fought hard, showed great effort, and kept pushing until the final whistle. Proud of their determination and excited to keep improving!

Rich Township High School Fall Home Game Reminders

Before attending a fall home game, please remember:

• Everyone must present identification. Adults need a government-issued photo ID, and Rich Township students need their physical student ID.
• Visiting students must show school ID and enter with a parent or guardian.
• All bags are subject to search. No backpacks or bags larger than 12 × 12 × 6 inches.
• Use the east entrance near Arquilla Drive and park only in designated areas.
• No admission after halftime. Once you leave, you may not re-enter.
• Student pickup will take place near the Field House.

Only District-approved credentialed media may enter restricted competition areas. A social media account, professional equipment or large following does not automatically qualify someone for media credentials. Unapproved photographers and videographers must purchase admission and remain in spectator areas.

Recordatorios para los partidos locales de otoño
Antes de asistir a un partido local, recuerde:

• Todas las personas deben presentar identificación. Los adultos necesitan una identificación con fotografía emitida por el gobierno, y los estudiantes de Rich Township necesitan su identificación física de estudiante.

Last night was our freshman football home opener! 🏈These boys played their hearts out from start to finish and came away with a great win against Leyden! So proud of their hard work, determination, and teamwork. What a way to kick off the home season!
