Now, that inspiration is becoming an album.

Where Creativity Lives has been released under the artist name Josie Mae.

The name Josie Mae honors her grandmothers, Josephine and Jessie Mae. September 7 would have been Josephine’s 113th birthday, making this release especially meaningful.

Some music carries a memory. Some music becomes a continuation of love, creativity, and light. ✨

Today is the day...My album has been released, Where Creativity Lives, under my artist name, Josie Mae: a name honoring my grandmothers, Josephine and Jessie Mae.

September 7th would have been Josephine’s 113th birthday. She made her transition at 102, and her legacy continues to inspire everything I create today.

The inspiration for this album began as a way to create ambiance and inspiration for guests who visit Josie Mae Creative Lab. It has grown into something deeply meaningful: a collection of sound shaped by creativity, memory, and the desire to bring light into the room.

I invite you to celebrate this release with me and be part of the next chapter of Where Creativity Lives.
