These grants can help provide your students with fresh materials and creative opportunities to expand their educational experiences.

With summer winding down and the new school year around the corner, The Foundation would like to remind the Mattawan Community of the important impact your donations have at MCS. Last year, we were able to support many different programs at Mattawan, such as financial support for Professional Development opportunities, initiatives for Special Education, School Safety and Student Connectedness, and funding for many important programs such as Mathcounts, Science Olympiad, the Beekeeping Club, the High School Testing Center and so much more.

As we begin to think about a fresh school year, The Foundation would like to remind our community of the positive impact your donations and support have had in our schools. Last spring, we awarded over $33,000 to graduating seniors through a number of Scholarships that we provide or manage on behalf of community members.

If you are a family or a business interested in creating a new Scholarship for a Mattawan Senior, please reach out by e-mailing [email protected]. You can create a Scholarship that reflects your own interests and passions or one that commemorates a loved one's memory.

As August comes to an end and we begin to think about a new school year, The Foundation would like to take a moment to remind the Mattawan Community of the tremendous impact your donations have had at MCS. We reinvested over $39,000 for educational initiatives in Mattawan's classrooms last school year! Thank you for helping us make such a positive difference for our Wildcats.

💛💙 THANK YOU, MATTAWAN!!! 💙💛

That’s a wrap on our 16th Annual Wildcat Road & Trail 5K!

Thank you to every runner, walker, volunteer, sponsor, spectator, and community member who made this another unforgettable morning.

This year’s race came with a redesigned course, construction across campus, a few behind-the-scenes challenges, and yes…finisher cookies 🍪. Through it all, your support reminded us why this event has become such a special tradition.

Every registration, every sponsorship, every volunteer hour, and every cheer from the sidelines helps support the Mattawan Public Education Foundation and our students.

We’re still wrapping up the final numbers and can’t wait to share just how much we raised together.

Until then, thank you for making Year 16 one to remember… and somehow helping us dodge the rain once again! ☀️🌦️

Supplies for Success is an amazing organization that helps support our MCS student body in important ways. They are still in need of shoes for their annual Back to School event. Can you donate a pair? Having new shoes to start the school year can make a big difference to a child.
