We're looking for a Flag Concessions Director/Manager for the upcoming season, and we'd love to have your help!
Responsibilities include:
-Purchasing hot dogs and buns for game day
-Getting student workers started at the concession stand
-Ensuring cleanup and closing tasks are completed at the end of the day
-Take inventory of items that may need to be restocked
-The great news is that you'll be reimbursed the same week for any concession purchases, and once the students are up and running, they manage the stand while you get to watch your player compete. It's truly a pretty easy and rewarding volunteer opportunity!
Games are held on Sundays for 6 weeks (excluding the Jamboree and playoffs). Concession hours are approximately 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., so you'll need to arrive a little early to get things set up, but you're generally wrapping up by the time the games end.
We're very flexible and open to:
-One person serving as the Concessions Director/Manager for the entire season, or
-A committee of volunteers who share responsibilities by alternating weeks, splitting opening and closing duties, or selecting the dates that work best for their schedules.
This is a great way to support our players and program with a relatively small time commitment.
