The color fetching game 💙 Benefits of the game are gross motor movement, visual discrimination and working memory. Show the child a color tablet, ask the child to scour the environment to find one object of the same color, bring it back to your rug and match/verify to see if the colors match. I love it when the different shades show up. It is the perfect time to introduce the language of light and dark colors. I like to name the objects and the works they are used with. It helps children learn their way around the classroom even if they haven’t had a lesson on the work. Try it at home!
