En adición al programa de DiscoverWorks, tuvimos tres clases del programa migrante llenas de estudiantes multilingües. Estos estudiantes desarrollaron su inglés por la mañana y pudieron aprender de nuestros especialistas de México por la tarde.
El lunes celebraremos sus esfuerzos y nos mostrarán lo que aprendieron a las 5pm en el gimnasio de MSE. ¡Esperamos verlos allí!

In addition to DiscoverWorks, we have had three Migrant summer classes full of our emerging multilingual students. These students worked on their English all morning and were able to learn from our two guest specialists from Mexico in the afternoon. Monday night they will be celebrating their hard work and showing us what they learned at 5pm in the MSE gym! We hope you join us!

Hay varios negocios en Mattawa ofreciendo comida caliente a los afectados por el incendio y el gimnasio de la prepa de Wahluke tiene a la cruz roja por si necesita un lugar donde quedarse.

There are several businesses offering a warm meal to those impacted by the fire and the Red Cross is set up at the WHS if you need a place to stay.

Tomorrow our DiscoverWorks summer programs at Saddle Mountain Elementary and Wahluke Junior High start along with our Migrant Summer School. Class is from 8:30am-2:30pm but students can be dropped off as early as 7:30am at SME if needed. Parents should have received a phone call this last week with their bus location and time. We can't wait to see everyone and have an amazing first week full of fun, learning....and of course some prizes!

Mañana empiezan los programas de verano DiscoverWorks en SME y WJH, junto con la escuela de verano del programa migrante. Clases van de las 8:30am hasta las 2:30pm pero pueden dejar a sus estudiantes en SME empezando a las 7:30am si necesitan dejarlos mas temprano. Todos los padres deberían de haber recibido una llamada por teléfono la semana pasada con el lugar y el horario del autobús. ¡Estamos emocionados para ver a todos para tener una semana llena de diversión, aprendizaje....y por supuesto, algunos premios!
