Semper Flight Aviation is growing — and we’re hiring CFIIs.

If you love teaching, can keep a student smiling through a tough lesson, and still get a kick out of watching someone finally nail a skill… we want you on the team.

We’re expanding and looking for instructors who bring energy, patience, and a real love of flying.

Come grow with us and help build better pilots. The flight deck’s waiting.

Way to go, Ryan!

You just wrapped up your discovery flight with the Young Aviators Program at Semper Flight Aviation Center, and it was clear from the start that this is where you belong.

That first flight is a big deal — the moment everything clicks and the ground falls away. Ryan, you’re going to do great in this program. We’re excited to have you with us and can’t wait to see what comes next.

Keep reaching higher.

Congrats, Max!

Just completed your first discovery flight with the Young Aviators Program at Semper Flight Aviation Center — and you already look like you belong up there.

There’s nothing quite like that first time the wheels leave the ground and the world drops away beneath you. Welcome to the sky, Max. We’re proud to have you with us and can’t wait to see where this takes you.

What a rainy Sunday and somehow still one of the brightest days we’ve had at Semper Flight Aviation.

Huge thank you to Scout Troop 340 for showing up, soaking wet and full of energy, ready to dive into aviation with us. We set out to teach you about flying and ended up being the ones who left feeling inspired.

These young people were fantastic. The questions never stopped. Curiosity on full throttle. We are continually amazed and humbled by the spark in this next generation. Seriously… keep asking those questions. The sky’s already yours.

And a special shoutout to CFI Dante and Commercial Pilot Dave, who somehow made rain, airplanes, and endless “what if” questions look effortless. Their passion is unmatched and today it showed in the best way possible.

Troop 340, you made a rainy Sunday unforgettable. Come back anytime.

Sky-High Weekend with our Young Aviators!

Today CFII Wussop had his flight crew locked in for group ground school and some flight lessons… and wow. These young men and women are impressive. Driven, sharp, and so locked-in that we keep looking at each other like, “Are these kids for real?!” Their focus and hunger to learn never stops amazing us.

Huge shout-out to the parents — you’re raising some seriously special future aviators. Thank you for trusting us with them!

Thinking about getting your young pilot (or yourself) into the air? We’d love to talk!

Foggles on. Outside world: officially cancelled.

This is what “trust your instruments” actually looks like. No peeking, no cheating, just pure IFR vibes and a pilot who can no longer see the pretty view outside.
At Semper Flight Aviation Center we don’t just talk about instrument training… we make you live it (safely, of course). Want to experience the same “wait… where did the ground go?” feeling while actually getting better at flying?

Come get your instrument rating with us. We’ll put the foggles on you too.

Call or text (757) 814-3001
Or shoot us an email: [email protected]

Let’s get you under the hood (and then back out of it with a shiny new rating).
