One of the 42 Laws of Maat is, I have Not Been Angry And Wrathful Except For A just Cause.
Let us perform this Spiritual Ritual Together:
Let’s imagine, we enter the Hall of Amenta and come before the scales of Maat and ask, What qualifies us as African American People, in collective examination of ourselves, whom war is made upon and who remain in constant battle for life and liberty? 'We have come over a way that with tears has been watered. We have come, treading our path through the blood of the slaughtered.' We want to be able to Declare our Innocence, ‘I have not been Angry and Wrathful Except For a Just Cause, in the Hall of Judgement, as we remember, when stirred to anger, we have had to fight many fights for many Just Causes.
Let us imagine the collective weighing of the African American heart on the Scale Maat, Let us ask, How is our collective Heart measuring up? Strum our memory of our history now, that we may garner all the life lessons that have made us the Foremost Experienced People on this planet Earth in learning that in the fiery, purifying chambers of our very own hearts, we have been transmuting, changing, converting our anger, pain, trauma and suffering into a healing Balm of Love. The Bible verse Jeremiah 8:22 speaks of this healing balm, the "balm of Gilead":"
We have been learning to give the gift of unconditional love to those who have been unloveable. To love those who have been unloveable is unconditional love. Those who have harmed us, tried to steal our humanity and have killed us. May the healing Balm of Love/Balm, that we have learned to make in our hearts, be distributed as Formula and Prescription for soothing and healing throughout the human family, and as demonstration of corrective planetary action and elevation in consciousness. Let these be potent examples and demonstration of the strength and determination of African American people in our fight to establish truth, justice, equality, right relationship, and liberty for all. We Affirm: We Have Not Been Angry And Wrathful Except For A Just Cause.
John Henrike Clarke in his book quotes the Pope, He said the abuses committed by the European Christian colonizers were due to the “lack of love in those people who were unable to see the indigenous Afrikans as brothers and sons of the same God."
“Let no man pull you low enough to hate him.”
– Martin Luther King Jr.
Think of the gravity in the heart
In prayer, fortify us in the assurance that our struggles through enslavement and a White Supremist paradigm, even up to this day, place us in your favor and grace in Spiritually crossing over the threshold, into a New and better World.
