Advanced Beginner Wheel Throwing

This is a class for students who want to improve their throwing skills but are not ready for an intermediate class. We will focus on whatever the students would like to learn, so come to class with ideas, and we will bring them to life.

Students should bring their own tools, buckets, aprons, and towels. Tools are available for use, if needed. While enrolled in this class, you may use the facilities during open studio time to practice what you have learned. You must already know how to throw on the wheel.

Ceramic Holiday Ornaments

Come enjoy the start of the holiday season with us! In this two part beginner level class you will learn the skills needed to create several different ceramic Christmas ornaments. The first evening we will have fun designing our ornaments and getting our hands in the clay . We will enjoy glazing our ornaments in the second class. Open to all skill levels.

Step into a world of miniature magic and learn the charming, vintage art of spun cotton! In this hands-on workshop, you will create a darling, hand-sculpted mouse, perfect for a whimsical display or as a unique keepsake. The instructor will guide you through the process of building a sturdy wire armature (the "skeleton"), wrapping it with cotton, and using a simple glue-and-water mixture to sculpt its form. Finally, you’ll paint your mouse with soft watercolor or acrylic tones. No experience is necessary—just bring your imagination and leave with a tiny, handmade companion.

Art Drop is a chance to try something new each month. Two projects will be on offer each session: do one or both! All materials are provided.

This fun, hands-on Halloween craft class teaches you how to design and bead your own spooky spider accessory using colorful glass beads and wire, perfect for beginners.

Create eerie art on small canvases using torn paper, textured layers, and intuitive painting with acrylic ink to make a tiny haunted masterpieces.
