Nesting Robin Painting

Students will paint a charming little nesting robin using acrylic paint on a 10” x 10” canvas. Students will be guided by the instructor as they learn fundamental painting techniques, mixing colors, layering, and shading.

Hand-Building Basics

September 08, 2026, 10:00 AM – September 29, 2026, 1:00 PM @ Bay School Community Arts Center

Come learn some basic skills for making your own pottery pieces. We will turn balls of clay into pinched cups, bowls, and covered jars. We will roll slabs of clay into small plates and bowls by slumping the clay. We will also make some push plates. We will also learn simple glazing techniques to enhance your work. These are all a great way for early success. You will have a lot of fun!

Intermediate Wheel Throwing

This class is for students who want to improve their throwing skills by making larger bowls, plates, lids, teapots, etc. We will focus on whatever the students would like to learn, so come to class with ideas, and we will bring them to life.

Students should bring their own tools, buckets, aprons, and towels. Tools are available for use, if needed. While enrolled in this class, you may use the facilities during open studio time to practice what you have learned.
