The backpacks are packed, the pencils are sharpened, the nerves (and excitement!) are kicking in… and just like that, the 2026–2027 school year is officially underway! 🎉

Watson PTO wants to wish all of our students, teachers, staff, and families an AMAZING first day! We hope today is filled with big smiles, new friends, happy reunions, and lots of exciting memories to come. 🥰

“A school administrator by day and PTO member by night! I have twins in kindergarten at Watson and a 6th grader at Pfeiffer. I love this school, these kiddos, and the staff here at Watson! We are ready for an awesome 2026–27 school year!”

“I’m a mama of four kiddos, One in Pfeiffer, one currently in 4th grade at Watson and my twins coming up next year! This is my second year serving on this awesome PTO Board, and I’m so excited for another great school year. We can’t wait to see what we accomplish together!”

🍎 Help Us Make This Year Amazing at Watson Elementary! 🐾💛

Watson PTO is looking for local businesses, community members, and families who would like to help us make this school year extra special for our students and teachers!

Throughout the year, PTO helps provide teacher appreciation, student activities, special events, classroom support, and fun experiences for our Watson Panthers. To make all of that possible, we’re looking for community partners willing to donate or contribute in any way they can.

Some of the ways you can help include:

🎁 Gift cards or gift certificates
🍎 Food or treats for our teachers and staff
💰 Monetary donations
🎟️ Products, services, or items for raffles and events
✨ Anything your business feels would help support our school

Own a local business? Work for a company that supports schools? Know someone who might want to partner with Watson PTO? We would LOVE to connect with you!

We’re getting ready to welcome our Watson families back for another amazing school year! 🐾

Join us Monday, August 17th from 5:00–6:00 PM for our Open House!

✨ Meet your child’s teacher & staff
🏫 Tour their classroom and learning space
🎒 Drop off school supplies
💛 Get excited for a brand-new school year!

We can’t wait to see all of our Panthers and their families! Be sure to stop by, say hello, and connect with us at our table! We’ll be having some import info there 💛 🐾

We have less than 10 days until the start of school ✏️ 🍎 📕 Just a reminder we have TWO important dates happening THIS week. 📅 August 11th (K-2nd grades) and 12th (3rd & 4th grades) Parent meetings @5:30pm in the Watson Gym! If you have children in multiple grades you only need to attend one of the two meetings. ***Students DO NOT need to attend***

If supplies are a hardship... Bear Hugs can help TODAY 8/4 at Jackson High School 5-7pm.
All districts welcome- no forms needed
Bring the kiddos and shop for free. There is also a free event across the street at North Park tonight too! 💜

If school supplies are a hardship this year, please ✨BRING YOUR STUDENT✨ and the student gets to shop for FREE for new school supplies!
