Check out this little blue octopus!
It’s tiny. It’s blue. And it has scientists awe-struck. A golf-ball-size octopus found on the deep seafloor off the Galápagos Islands is an entirely new species, scientists just announced. http://spklr.io/6045EMu5x

It’s been an incredible season for our Marine Biology program! We traveled with 21 students from six different schools to Andros Island and students learned so much about the ocean, blue holes, and culture of the Bahamas.
This program is made possible by you. Thanks to our community’s fundraising efforts and a massive $20,000 top-off grant from the Herbert W. Hoover Foundation, we are able to offer multiple need-based and merit scholarships to our current applicants.
Missed our Info Night? Don't worry! We had 37 families join us on April 8, but there is still room to learn more. If your student is interested in future trips, reach out to our team at Hoover, Jackson, or Marlington high schools. Reminder, application deadline for next school year is May 6th!
