Did you notice the white football helmets Friday at the game? Here’s a little history from the Perry Football History page:

Speaking of history, hats off to Head Coach Spencer Leno for bringing back the leaping Panthers on the white helmets. Those leaping Panthers were originally started by Head Coach Tom Winkhart and wore by teams from 1967-1982. The original helmet from that era also had stripes, but these new ones are great!
It’s a nice tribute to the teams that laid the winning foundation of Perry Football in the Winkhart and Demaree era.

The PHS media class had access to an original white football helmet this week as they were preparing a hype video.

Can’t make the battle of 13th St. tonight? Catch the live stream. The live stream is a production of the career tech media class at PHS led by teacher, Mr. Brown. Students make the hype video, run the cameras and much more. It’s always great to be in the stadium to see it live, but a good live stream is a nice alternative. Go Perry!
