The June 2026 issue of Wild Kids Magazine is up now!

In this month’s issue, we have information about phototoxic plants (plants that can give you a rash if you touch them in sunlight, including some common garden and grocery store plants), 🌱a June flower find challenge, 🌸 information on how to make your own floral perfume oil, 🌹 all kinds of weather lore, 🌨️a daily nature photo challenge for June, 📷botanical coloring pages for anise and fennel (both of which are phototoxic plants themselves), 🌿ways to learn and play in nature, 🐞a June phenology wheel, 🍄and all the usual nature poetry, nature study pages, a weather tree and more. 🪶

This month’s issue is 20 pages. As always, it’s in PDF form so you can read it online, send it to your Kindle, or print it out.

And as always, the magazine is 100% ad-free and absolutely free for personal use.

In one week, Dancing Conversation: Creative Process in Nature comes to F.A. Seiberling Nature Realm. Dancing Conversations highlight how dance and the arts touch everyday life.

The National Center for Choreography - Akron Executive/Artistic Director Christy Bolingbroke will facilitate a discussion with four artists around incorporating nature as a part of their creative process.

Akron-based artists will include Choreographer Dominic Moore-Dunson and his work Black by Nature, Saxophonist Chris Coles and Wildlife Specialist Monika ‘Bell’ Bowman and their project AVIMANCY.

Field trips are posted in the private group for the spring and summer months .
Enjoy splash pads , animal rescue centers , nature hikes , and even a free range kid style farm playground .

We require no co op fee to join us for field trips .
There are times that some trips do have an entry fee . You are responsible for those on your own .
