I started tutoring, Joe, in ELA at the end of 3rd grade when he was attending St. Rose of Lima in Massapequa. Joe did so well in elementary/middle school and on the Catholic High School entrance exams (which i helped him
prepare for) he was accepted into Kellenberg High School. I am fortunate enough to continue tutoring Joe through his high school years. I currently am assisting Joe in Spanish, English, History, and Chemistry. Joe is doing amazing work as noted by his most recent grades in Spanish!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I look forward to continuing to help Joe throughout his high school education. In the late winter/early spring we will begin to work on his prep ACT exams and then next year, as a junior, on his preparation for the SAT and ACT exams for college entrance. It’s been a successful and rewarding journey helping Joe succeed! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My new student Bella is entering first grade and having difficulty reading. We are working twice a week to improve her skills. 📚⭐️🍎 She was able to use scrabble tiles to spell words and sentences. Keep up the great work Bella! So happy that you’re working hard over the summer to get yourself prepared for first grade!! 📚⭐️🍎

I began tutoring Math to my 6th grade student, Fiona, in March. Fiona is a cooperative, hard working girl with such a positive outlook on everything! She loves to learn, but struggles with some areas of Math. We worked hard studying for her final and I was thrilled to receive this text message from her happy mom letting me know she got a 91% on her final exam. I look forward to continue working with Fiona and helping her be the best student she can be. Congratulations Fiona! 📚🍎

I am thrilled for my student, Emma, who has diligently worked with me, twice a week, for the last three years.

Emma’s mom asked me to assist her in preparing for a Cogat test in order to get accepted into a challenging private school.

Emma and I worked hard using practice material for her test and she passed! Both Emma and her parents are extremely pleased with her success!

Emma’s mom also asked me to write a reference letter for her and I was honored to do so. I know Emma will always shine! Keep up the great work, Emma! Your future is looking so bright; I am so very happy for your success!

My 5th grade student, Charlotte, constantly impresses me with her dedication to learning! 📚🍎⭐️I tutor her weekly in ELA and Math. I care so much about each and everyone of my students! With the summer approaching, I want them all to be safe and happy, but I also want them to continue to care about learning! 📚🍎⭐️The summer is definitely a time to rest and have fun, but we must remember to keep our brains active so that returning to school in September isn’t too difficult for students (and parents) So even if it’s reading books (which is sometimes difficult without the structure of a tutoring session) every week, or having a few tutoring sessions, there still should be some type of active learning going on in the summer months in order to achieve goals for the upcoming school year! 📚🍎⭐️It’s also a great time to improve skills while students have so much more time on their hands! Eventually all of this hard work becomes the foundation for scholarships in the future. 📚🍎⭐️ At the price of a college education, this should be a goal from day one!! The effort my students put in now is an investment in all of their own futures! It is a gift to themselves, their parents, and to me, as their tutor!! My friend is a first grade classroom teacher and highly recommended me to this hardworking young girl, Georgette’s family. Georgette had been getting services in school because her math grades were 50-70%. Her teacher was concerned about her ability to be able to handle 2nd grade math when 1st grade math was such a struggle! After two and a half months of weekly tutoring with me, Georgette’s most recent math grade was a 90%!!!!
