GPA isn’t everything.

Oftentimes high school students obsess over ever hundredth of a GPA point. Ultimately though, other things will make you stand out in the admissions process like teacher recommendations, personal essays, and extracurriculars.

So don’t put too much stock in GPA. At the end of the day learning is more important than a number.

Hello! My name is Abdur-Rehman (everyone just calls me Abdur) and I am a freshman at New York Institute of Technology in the 7-year BS/DO program and graduated from Rock Ridge High School in Northern Virginia. I have taught and tutored in numerous different settings for 2-3 years in a variety of different subjects from history to science to math. In my free time, I love going for a good run and hanging out with my friends, whether it be playing/discussing sports or eating out and having fun. I am very excited to be working with you!!
