We welcomed our youngest students this week at Royalmont Academy! Royalmont offers Junior kindergarten (full week full day) and preschool students (full and half day) to meet the needs of each family. A few spots remain in these programs, contact [email protected] to inquire!

The Middle School Color Run was a big hit as we kick off the school year! This event helps to bring the middle school together with a “fun run” around the campus. Students and their teachers look forward to this day each August!

It was another great day at Royalmont! We caught up with many sibling and friend groups this week for some photos on the playground. Royalmont Academy offers a house system in the high school. Students are sorted in to 4 houses, 2 girl houses and 2 boy houses. Today houses were sorted and then competed in a house challenge. Winners of the competition earned the house cup! The house system in high school creates a sense of belonging and school spirit. It also builds stronger relationships among students. Further, it can promote healthy competition and instill values such as empathy and tenacity. We look forward to a great year!

Mass was celebrated on the first day of school! What a blessing to have the opportunity to attend Mass with classmates during the school day. Faith formation is part of each day at Royalmont Academy.

Today, some of our seniors had an important job: welcoming our newest students to Royalmont High School.
They gave them a tour, helped them find their classrooms, answered questions, and then shared a little of the wisdom they have gained along the way.
There is something special about watching students who were once the new kids become the ones helping someone else find their place. That is part of what we mean when we talk about forming strong Christian leaders. Leadership isn’t simply something we teach in a classroom. It grows when students learn to look beyond themselves, take responsibility for others, and recognize when someone beside them could use a helping hand.
Afterwards, senior parking spots have were painted! Classrooms are ready, and a very quiet building is about to become much louder.
We can’t wait.
It’s going to be a great year at Royalmont!
