🍃🎨 Nature-Inspired Sensory Art! 🎨🍃

Our toddlers explored art and sensory play all in one activity! Using sticky contact paper as their canvas, they created beautiful nature collages with leaves, flowers, grass, and other outdoor treasures. 🌿🌼

This simple activity encouraged little hands to touch, press, peel, explore, and create while building fine-motor skills, sensory awareness, and creativity. 💚

This August, Préscolaire is hosting a Book Drive to benefit Adopt A Book, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing at-risk children with books of their own.
📖 Bring in a new or gently loved children's book and drop it in our donation box at the Front Desk starting August 3rd!
Together, we can help children discover new stories, spark their imaginations, build literacy skills, and develop a lifelong love of reading. ✨

🏇🐎 OFF TO THE RACES! 🐎🏇

Last week, our Summer Camp Road Trip Across America took us to Kentucky—the Bluegrass State! 💙🌿
Our campers were off to the races as they learned all about the famous Kentucky Derby! Throughout the week, they learned about jockeys, racehorses, and what makes the Derby so special. They even designed their own jockey outfits and created, named, and decorated their very own racehorses! 🏇🎨🐴
Then, on Friday, it was time to celebrate with our very own Kentucky Derby Party! 🎉 Our campers dressed up for the occasion, enjoyed cheese and crackers, made their own mint juleps, and raced the horses they created earlier in the week! 🧀🥤🐎
And of course, every great race needs a winner! 🏆 Congratulations to our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, who each took home a trophy! 🥇🥈🥉

Our Toddler 2 classroom has been exploring the world of containers through hands-on play! Today, they practiced fine motor skills by putting large coins into slots, worked on problem-solving as they opened and closed different lids, and explored colors through fun matching activities. 🪙🎨

🐞🔍 Our Preschool 2 bug investigators have been hard at work! As part of our Bugs & Insects study, the children created their very own binoculars using painted paper towel tubes and string so they could wear them on their nature walk.

Wearing their homemade binoculars, they explored the outdoors on a mission to discover tiny creatures living all around us. Their careful observations paid off—they found a roly-poly and even a small centipede! 🪲🐛
