Technology advances faster then it is perfected. Hangar 18 is here to perfect, repair and advance existing technology as well as develop new open source ideas for the good of humankind. Why do we still have flashlights that run out of batteries? Still relying on fossil fuels? Putting our hot water in the coldest part of the house and air conditioning in the warmest? Front doors that let the hot/cold out, Cars that use friction based braking which waste energy, recycling things that create more waste and not recycling things that are still of good use.
