Mashpee Public Schools is thrilled to introduce our newest Paraprofessional, a proud Mashpee alum who is stepping right back into the halls where her own story started. Inspired from a young age by her mom to pursue her dream of becoming a educator, returning to give back to her hometown district alongside our amazing team feels like the ultimate homecoming.

Off the clock, family and community are at the heart of everything she does. She is a proud, resilient mom to her 25.6-week preemie twin boys, a loving dog mom to Raven and Tracker, and a die-hard fan cheering on every Boston sports team! Whether she’s unwinding with a good book, putting her talent for sewing to use, or blasting her favorite old school and country jams, her warmth and energy shine through. We are beyond proud to have her back on the Mashpee team. Please join us in giving her a huge welcome!

Math scores are up at Quashnet, and one look inside our 4th-grade classrooms shows why!

Our incredible teachers are using a dynamic center-based model that keeps students engaged, supported, and excited about math. During rotations, students move between:
1️. Direct instruction in small groups with their teacher

2. Hands-on math games with peers

3. Focused independent practice

The results speak for themselves—not just in the numbers, but in the environment. Growing up, math class rarely involved students cheering each other on, but that’s exactly what’s happening at Quashnet today!

A huge shoutout to our dedicated 4th-grade teaching team for their hard work, creativity, and commitment to student success. You are making math meaningful, collaborative, and fun!

Singing loud and proud at BSU! 🎶

On Monday, nine MMHS students took part in the 2nd annual BSU Choral Festival alongside 200+ students from nearly 20 school districts across three choral ensembles.

Thank you so much to Dr. Brad Dumont and the BSU Music Department for an unforgettable day of music-making!
