Important !!!
If you are a college student and have not received your aid yet, check your portal on the college site. Many students are being asked to fill out a verification form and some are also being asked for proof of citizenship. You must fill these out if it’s requested. The information is easily found on your / your parents’ taxes, which is what we used for Fafsa so it will match the form. The verification process has been around a long time but I’ve never seen it requested from so many students at so many different schools in one year. I’m assuming this is due to the current administration’s new policies and changes to the Dept of Education.
