Welcome back to Coaches Corner 🐦🔥
Today, please welcome to the Firebird Team, Coach Lia "Lili" Mendoza! Coach Lia will be our preschool, Homeschool PE, and sensory friendly ninja class coach. She brings with her an educational background in healthcare science and experience in both general and special education, and has a passion for helping kids learn, grow, build confidence, and have fun along the way. When she's not coaching, you'd most likely find her making T-shirts with sublimation printing, 3D printing, or getting lost in a good book.
Coach Lia's favorite song is “I Can Do It with a Broken Heart” by Taylor Swift, because she says it's a great reminder that you can keep moving forward even when things get difficult. She also has two great inspiration quotes which she'll use to motivate her students in class to rise above their limits:
