🎨 Clay Day Fun at Fairview! 🏺

Our Fairview artists had an amazing time getting their hands a little messy during Clay Day with local artist Annamarie Gundlach!

Every student in Kindergarten through 5th grade had the opportunity to create their very own clay masterpiece. Their creations are now ready to be fired in the kiln, and next up—painting! We can’t wait to see the finished pieces! ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to the Tennessee Arts Commission for awarding Fairview a grant that made this special week of creativity and hands-on learning possible.

We didn’t manage to capture photos of every class or grade level—our hands may have been a little too covered in clay! 🤣 But here are a few snapshots of the fun and creativity happening in our art room.

We are so grateful for opportunities like this that allow our students to learn, create, and experience art in a whole new way! 🎨✨

A huge THANK YOU to all of the parents and grandparents who joined us for Career Day! 💙💛

Our students loved learning about the many different careers represented by our Fairview families and hearing firsthand about the important work they do each day.

Career Day is such a wonderful reminder that our families aren’t just part of our school community—they are an important part of our greater community, too! We are so grateful that you took the time to share your experiences, talents, and knowledge with our students.

Thank you for helping our students dream about all the possibilities for their own futures! 🌟

We are Fairview! 💙💛

These educators are always looking for new and creative ways to support our students, enhance learning, and bring meaningful opportunities into our school. We can’t wait to see their grant-funded ideas come to life at Fairview! 💙📚✨

Congratulations, ladies, and thank you for continuing to find ways to make learning even better for our students!

Dear Parents,

To better address the health needs of students, the State of Tennessee recommends schools provide dental screenings. Blount County Schools will be partnering with the Elgin Children’s Foundation to provide dental screenings for students in grades K-5 on Thursday, October 22nd. The screening process will involve examining each student's mouth using a flashlight, and no dental instruments will be used. The screenings will be provided free of charge and you will be notified of the results. If you prefer your child not participate in the dental screenings, please send a written note to your child’s teacher by Friday, October 2nd.
