Northwest Missouri State University Agronomy Club

The past few days, our members have been at the national SASES conference in Baltimore, Maryland.

The keynote speaker for SASES was Drew Dudley and he spoke about being a leader. We toured urban agriculture and agriculture on Maryland country side on Saturday, Sunday we had the pedology competition and hot topics with the experts. The hot topics were about plastic in our soils, plant genetics and putting carbon back into our soils.
Monday we had the crops Judging contest and the awards dinner on a dinner boat.

Our members had a great time playing football tonight and can’t wait to play again!

The Northwest Agronomy Club had a great time at our bowling night!

Meet our Agronomy Club President, Kassidy Miller!

Happy Monday everyone! This Wednesday will be our last meeting of the semester! We will be doing officer elections as well as playing games to celebrate. If you are interested in becoming an officer for the next school year, be sure to show up! Hope to see you all there in CIE 1202 !

Good evening everyone! We will have our next meeting tomorrow, Wednesday at 6pm. We will meet in room 1202 and will move outside to collect soil samples with Dr. Taylor. He will be showing us the basics of using soil probes and seeing the differences in soil in separate areas around the CIE building.
