Leadership learning in action with this year’s MLDS Advanced cohort!

From building trust and communication to tackling leadership challenges through the MOERA course, this group put teamwork to the test! Conversations also focused on developing a shared language for strong instructional practice, drawing from the work of Marzano, Rutherford, and Antonetti to sharpen classroom observations, strengthen feedback, and create greater consistency in conversations about teaching and learning.

Leadership Academy #41 kicked off its first regional meeting of the year today!

Leaders explored the three “core pillars” of LA: Knowing Yourself and Others, Instructional Leadership, and Being an Agent of Change. The day included a deeper dive into John Antonetti’s Walking to Learn protocol, the four tenets of academic acceleration, and the change formula.

Using the Kolbe A™ Index, leaders also reflected on their natural strengths and approaches while working through a complex group challenge.

A great start to a year of growing, learning, and leading together! 👏
